No it is not just YOU

The World Upsidedown…

U R going the WRONG WAY

As I sit here during the first week of Black History Month, I can’t help but notice that while we celebrate important contributions to our society, our country seems to be moving in the wrong direction. We’re witnessing leadership that, instead of championing the people, appears to favor a narrow, wealthy, and predominantly white elite.

Take Russia, for example. Right now, would you choose it as a vacation spot? Would you consider buying products made there? Chances are, the answer is no—and for good reason. We see similar patterns in other countries. Consider Hungary: how many Hungarian cars or kitchen appliances do you use? Not many, as companies left the country when a dictatorial regime took hold.

This trend isn’t limited to far-off nations. Even in the U.S., companies like Apple have moved their headquarters to places like Ireland or the UK, where businesses can operate freely without oppressive restrictions. In systems where dictators or communist policies prevent individuals from keeping their money, economic freedom is compromised. That’s why many consumers avoid products from countries like South Africa, Vietnam, North Korea, Hungary, and, with few exceptions like high-end luxury items, Turkey.
